In March 2011, Andrew J. Anderson was named as a Texas Rising Star--Super Lawyer.  Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers whom have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

Anderson Legal Group Provides Training to Local Expert Witnesses

On July 23, 2010, several local expert witnesses attended an open house and seminar which was held at Anderson Legal Group.  During their visit, Andrew J. Anderson presented information about legal changes related to subpoenas, in-court testimony and evidence.  The group also discussed the future of family law and the Court's role of awarding custody.  This seminar further evidences the firm's continued commitment to work with experts that are commonly used within the divorce and family law context.

Andrew J. Anderson Guest Speaker For The Tarrant County Bar Association

On March 6, 2010, Andrew J. Anderson was a guest speaker at the People's Law School, a community service project sponsored by the Tarrant County Bar Association.  The event was held at Texas Wesleyan Law School and was attended by several hundred people.  Mr. Anderson spoke on Divorce and Community Property issues.

Anderson Legal Group, P.C. moves to Colleyville, Texas

On January 4, 2010, Anderson Legal Group, P.C., opened its doors at their new office in Colleyville, Texas.  The new building is only minutes from the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, and it is located immediately south of Colleyville Heritage High School (a high school in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District).  Further, the new building is less then 5 miles from the old location.  Below are some pictures of our new facilities:

The firm is proud of the new, custom-built building as it utilizes several high-tech innovations which will assist the firm in representing their clients.  Finally, the new building will allow for future growth and expansion of the firm.       

Andrew J. Anderson becomes Board Certified in Texas Family Law:

The Texas Board of Legal Specialization has recognized Andrew J. Anderson for his specialized knowledge with regard to Texas Family Law.  Only 1% of lawyers in the Dallas / Fort Worth area have received the honor of being Board Certified in Family Law.  It is the highest recognition of competence awarded by the State Bar of Texas.

Andrew J. Anderson recognized by the Untied States Supreme Court:

On August 21, 2007, Andrew J. Anderson was officially admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court.  This privilege is reserved for only a select few attorneys.  The honor was presented by William K. Suter, Clerk of the Supreme Court.

Andrew J. Anderson awarded "Lifetime Member" of Family Law Foundation:

Recently, Andrew J. Anderson became a Lifetime Member of the Texas Family Law Foundation.  Founded in 2001, the Texas Family Law Foundation is charged with improving the practice of family law by working to refine laws passed in Texas.  The organization accomplishes its goals through drafting proposed laws and educating legislators in Austin regarding the possible outcomes of proposed legislation.

Our New Office:

In February 2007, Anderson Legal Group moved into its new office located at 1111 South Main Street in Grapevine, Texas.  The location is just north of DFW airport and it is in the very center of the Metroplex.
