Born and raised in Tarrant County, Ms. Rector attended Texas Christian University where she studied psychology and child development with a particular focus on attachment issues. While studying the world of psychological counseling, Ms. Rector volunteered with clients going through divorces or custody battles and saw that attorneys could often offer quick, concrete relief, and she pursued a career as an attorney. After earning her law degree at Georgetown University, Ms. Rector returned home to Texas to begin her legal career. Her background in understanding people’s behavior and motivations is continually relevant in divorces with children and custody cases. Complex property disputes can also be very emotionally challenging; a compassionate advocate is a critical asset in protecting your rights.

She enjoys coming up with creative solutions to meet each client’s individual needs, in and out of the courtroom.
